Dinner will be a station service dinner with Prime Rib and Pasta options. Please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
Due to limited space, we’ve had to keep our ceremony and reception guest list small. We're so grateful to share this celebration with each of you in the way that space allows.

OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
Like many love stories of our time, ours began in the most 2021 way possible, on Match, during COVID. But from the moment we met, it felt anything but ordinary.
Our very first date was simple and sweet, ice cream at Herns in St. Marys. We wandered the streets with treats in hand, completely lost in conversation for over three hours. Time disappeared.
From that day forward, love became a rhythm of long drives and longer goodbyes. Chris would make the hour-and-a-half trip, three times a week, just to spend a few hours together. No distance felt too far. Every visit was its own little chapter in a story we both knew was just beginning.
Fast forward to
cozy nights by the fire, dreaming up big plans - somewhere between world domination and what’s for dinner. Life quickly became a collection of boat rides with glasses of wine in hand, watching the sun melt into Lake Huron, and a few too many wild nights that ended with laughter... and the occasional morning headache.
Through it all, we became each other’s best friends, the kind you belly laugh with until your cheeks hurt. The kind who knows when silence is enough and when a dance party in the kitchen is absolutely necessary. We love with our whole hearts, without question or condition, and somehow, every day together still feels like the best adventure yet.
The proposal
Naturally, it happened on the boat, where so many of our favorite moments unfold. That evening was a race against the setting sun and an approaching storm. We rushed out the door, determined to catch the last light on the water. The lake was like glass, perfectly still, and the sky was painted in soft pastels. With a glass of wine in hand, Jackie was taking it all in when a sound behind her broke the calm.
She turned around to find Chris doubled over, claiming he had stubbed his toe… again. It was the third time that day, and at this point, Jackie was genuinely concerned he might need to get checked out. But then he turned to face her.
No stubbed toe this time. Just a ring, and the moment we both knew would change everything.
